Elon Musk claims that if he continues to support an antisemitic tweet, advertisers would leave X and the platform that was once known as Twitter will “die.” He also had a straightforward message for those businesses, which include IBM, Disney, and Apple: “Go f**k yourself.”

Speaking on Wednesday night at the New York Times DealBook Summit, Musk advised advertisers who had reservations about Musk’s behavior to discontinue using the platform, which has always relied on ad income, by cutting back on their expenditure. Musk responded, “Don’t advertise,” to a query regarding X’s recent issues. “If someone tries to use advertising as a form of blackmail on me? Use money as a form of blackmail? F**k yourself, please. F**k yourself, please. Is that understood correctly? If you’re in the audience, hello, Bob. I feel that way; please don’t promote it.

In reaction to Musk’s recent activities, several corporations have halted their X advertising this month, including Disney CEO Bob Iger, to whom Musk was alluding. Iger declined to say when asked if his business would start running ads on X during his speech at the New York Times event earlier in the day. Iger stated, “We felt that by him taking the position he did, the association with that position, and Elon Musk and X, was not a positive one for us.”

Musk most likely needs Iger’s advertising budget more than Disney does X. The powerhouse of global theme parks and entertainment is estimated to be worth close to $170 billion. In October of this year, X employees received stock grants at a valuation of $45 per share, valuing the company at $19 billion—less than half of what Musk spent for the platform a year ago. Musk had taken over Twitter in 2022 and had hidden the company’s financials by taking it private.

On November 15, user @breakingbaht commented that Jewish communities have been “pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against Whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them.” This statement ignited X’s advertising problem. Musk publicly retorted, “You have spoken the actual truth,” a statement that was interpreted by many as endorsing the right-wing extremist conspiracy theory known as the “great replacement.”

  • In the sixth swap, since the ceasefire began, twelve Israeli prisoners and four Thai nationals were let free in Gaza; thirty Palestinian women and children were also freed from Israeli detention facilities.
  • According to analysts, the ceasefire talks have moved into a “pragmatic” stage including a number of mediators and parties, with Hamas indicating that it is eager to prolong the ceasefire.
  • The foreign minister of Palestine demands a long-term ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing that “massacres cannot resume.”
  • Since October 7, almost 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. The official death toll in Israel is 1,200.
  • Scared, hurt, but now free. Boy from Palestine remembers mistreatment in Israeli jail

Tuesday saw the 18-year-old Mohammad Salhab Tamimi released to his family as part of an ongoing prisoner exchange agreement.

As part of an ongoing prisoner swap agreement, 18-year-old Mohammad Salhab Tamimi was finally allowed to return to his family after spending eight months in Israeli prisons without facing any charges or being processed.

He embraced his parents with a serious look on his boyish face and stood looking a little confused as if he wasn’t sure whether to talk to the media or not.

During the eight months of unpredictability that had begun on October 7 and continued until now, when the Al-Aqsa Flood operation began, he had endured so much suffering.

The final words he heard from the oppressive Israeli jail officers were that if his loved ones celebrated his return, he would be arrested again and placed back into administrative custody.

Tell your friends,” they advised. I’m going back to prison if we throw a big celebration,” he remembered.

With only their close family and a few uncles there, his family kept their happiness under wraps due to the Israeli military roadblock and illegal settlement near their house.

    shook, scuffled, and degraded

Fortunately for the family, smiles don’t create noise, and no one could stop the grins on his mother Fatima and father Murshid’s faces as they clutched their “little boy” closely.

In the early hours of Tuesday night, their youngster was one of the four groups of Palestinian inmates to be released from the Ofer jail, which is located close to Ramallah. He had been uncertain about what was happening to him until the very last moment.

On Monday, November 27, at 7 a.m. (05:00 GMT), a guard at Rimon Prison made Mohammad prepare to be moved to Ofer Prison. That was all; there was no information regarding the cause of his movement. Only instructed to take off all of his clothes, put on a grey jail sweatsuit, and gather his possessions.

I placed my garments into one of those plastic bags and proceeded to the cell door, where they restrained my hands and pushed my head below.

Then, the officer gave me a hard kick.” Because of the steel in his boots, it ached so much that I felt like he was crushing my feet.

He pulled me into the prison yard and proceeded to remove my clothes, throwing them into a rubbish pail while taking me out of the facility. Then he dragged me out while cursing at me in a vulgar manner, Mohammad recollected with a halt.

Mohammad was placed in a “bosta,” a van used for prisoner transfers that has its windows covered in black and have cramped, metal-seat cages to which inmates are shackled.

Bosta rides can last up to twelve hours. There aren’t any food, restroom, or rest areas. “I was detained in the car cell with nothing to eat or drink.

When Ofer was eventually released in the early hours of Tuesday, his father and uncle were waiting for him outside, so they could transport him home to Hebron, which is located to the south of the occupied West Bank.

Following the release from Gaza of the 13 Israeli captives and the four foreigners by Hamas, Israel announced the liberation of an additional 39 Palestinians.

The Israeli military reported that, following several hours of delays and accusations that Israel had broken the conditions of a truce agreement, Hamas released a second set of 13 Israelis and four Thai nationals late on Saturday under the terms of a ceasefire agreement.

According to the Israeli military, the liberated prisoners, which included four Thais, were taken to Israel. In addition to being reunited with their families, they were being transported to hospitals for observation.

Following the release of the four foreigners and 13 Israeli hostages by Hamas from the Gaza Strip, another group of 39 Palestinians have been freed.

Top stories on the ceasefire and fighting between Israel and Hamas:

    • After the exchange was delayed, Qatar—which, along with Egypt, assisted in mediating the agreement—announced that two mediators had succeeded in breaking the deadlock between Israel and Hamas, according to The New York Times.
    • Afterward, Israel verified that Hamas had given the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza custody of 13 Israelis, including five women and eight children. According to Israeli officials, they were then brought to Israel and sent to hospitals in a convoy that crossed the Rafah crossing into Egypt. Additionally, four Thai nationals were set free.
    • TV footage, meanwhile, showed Palestinian prisoners being welcomed back to their homes in east Jerusalem which has been annexed. Israa Jaabis, 38, was the most well-known person mentioned as being released. She was found guilty of setting off a gas cylinder in her car during a checkpoint in 2015, injuring a police officer, and receiving an 11-year prison sentence.
    • The agreement was in danger of collapsing earlier when Hamas declared that it would postpone the second batch of captive releases on Saturday until Israel fulfilled all requirements of the truce, including allowing relief vehicles to enter northern Gaza.
    • According to Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan, only 65 of the 340 supply trucks that have entered Gaza since Friday have reached northern Gaza, which is “less than half of what Israel agreed on.”
    • The United Nations and other international organizations, according to the Israel Defence Forces, distributed the aid within the Gaza Strip. The biggest number of assistance trucks since October 7 were delivered to northern Gaza on Saturday, according to confirmation from the UN. Food, water, and emergency medical supplies were among them.
    • The exchange on Saturday comes after Hamas released 39 Palestinian women and teenagers from Israeli prisons on Friday in exchange for the release of another 13 Israeli prisoners, including children and the elderly.
    • News agency AP was informed by a Palestinian person with knowledge of the talks that Hamas will stick to the four-day ceasefire reached with Israel. This is the first ceasefire since Hamas militants stormed southern Israel on October 7, killing 1,200 people and capturing over 240 prisoners.
    • Following the attack, Israel promised to eliminate the Gaza-based Hamas militants by attacking the enclave with bombs and shells and conducting a land offensive in the north. Palestinian health authorities declared on Saturday that the counteroffensive has killed at least 14,800 individuals, around 40% of them minors.
    • The newest group of hostages freed by Hamas gunmen on Saturday included a nine-year-old Irish-Israeli child, according to a statement from Ireland’s prime minister, Leo Varadkar. “This is a day of enormous joy and relief for Emily Hand and her family,” Varadkar stated. Emily Hand, who was imprisoned earlier this month, turned nine.
    • The elite IDF unit and Shin Bet forces are currently traveling with the hostages in Israeli territory who have returned home, according to the Israeli foreign minister. It stated, “Our forces will accompany the returnees until they reach their families in the hospitals, following an initial assessment of their medical condition.”

After seven weeks of fighting, the Israel-Hamas war agreed to a four-day cease-fire in Gaza.

In addition to assistance trucks entering Gaza, 39 Palestinian inmates detained in Israeli jails and 13 captives in Gaza are scheduled for release in the next several hours.

Before the UN-mediated truce begins, the Gaza Strip is subjected to a night of heightened bombardment from “air, land, and sea,” according to reports.

According to Wafa news agency, another Palestinian journalist, Amal Zuhd, and family members were slain in Gaza City.

Over 220 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of the war as a result of Israeli military operations that continue throughout the night in the occupied West Bank.

Since October 7, around 14,800 Palestinians have died in Gaza. Approximately 1,200 people have officially died as a result of Hamas strikes in Israel.

List of Palestinians scheduled for release received by PA

The Palestinian Authority has received a list containing the names of 39 Palestinians who are due to be released today, according to Al Jazeera.

Reporting from Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Zein Basravi of Al Jazeera added, “We are also hearing that that list may not be the final.”

“We are positive that no Palestinian family has received word as of yet regarding whether or not their loved one will be included in that list of 39 names.”

What is likely to occur today?

    • The first batch of Israeli detainees, consisting of 13 women and children, will be released around 4 p.m. local time (14:00 GMT).
    • They will be accompanied by the Red Cross to the border crossing at Rafah, where they will be turned over to the Israeli soldiers to start the identification process.
    • The detainees will be brought to Tel Aviv hospitals for medical and psychological examinations.
    • As part of the deal, 39 Palestinian detainees will also be freed from Israeli prisons on the first day.
    • They will be transferred from two Israeli jails located southeast of Haifa: Damon and Megiddo.
    • After that, they will be driven to the Ofer jail, which is located in the occupied West Bank south of Ramallah. From there, they will be given to their relatives at a nearby crossing.
    • In the hours to follow, much-needed humanitarian aid is also anticipated to get into Gaza from Egypt.
    • 200 relief trucks and more fuel trucks, according to Hamas, will arrive in Gaza every day.

The sixth installment, which was released earlier this year, and 2022’s “Scream” were both directed by her.

Melissa Barrera is no longer a part of Scream VII. Following a series of social media posts in the aftermath of the Israel-Hamas War, the actor was removed from the film.

After the initial publication of this article, a spokesperson for Spyglass, the company behind the Scream franchise, issued the following statement: “Spyglass’ stance is unequivocally clear: We have zero tolerance for antisemitism or the incitement of hatred in any form, including false references to genocide, ethnic cleansing, Holocaust distortion, or anything that flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech.”

THR has gotten in touch with Barrera’s representative. Since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, Barrera has written numerous posts regarding the conflict.

Barrera helped reinvigorate the brand with Scream, a 2022 film that grossed $137.7 million worldwide and featured generations of franchise cast members. The protagonist of that movie, played by Barrera’s Sam Carpenter, was Tera, Jenna Ortega’s elder sister. Barrera featured in Scream VI as well. The film debuted in March and made over $168.9 million at the box office worldwide.

Radio Silence, the director of Happy Death Day, will be replaced by Christopher Landon as director of Scream VII.

During the strikes by actors and writers, development had been delayed and filming had not started. Spyglass is now anticipated to reevaluate its ambitions in light of Barrera’s dismissal. Distribution for the most recent installments was handled by Paramount, which is anticipated to return for the upcoming movie.

Maha Dakhil of CAA, a prominent member of another Hollywood firm, has faced criticism for her Instagram posts concerning the crisis, one of which read, “What’s more devastating than seeing genocide? observing the denial that any genocide is taking place.”

Ms. Dakhil was consequently stripped of her responsibilities as co-chief of the motion pictures department, but she was still permitted to work as an agent.

Variety and other trade journals claim that Tom Cruise, one of Ms. Dakhil’s most well-known clients, informed CAA that he supported her.

According to reports, Cruise personally supported Ms. Dakhil last week when he saw her at the agency’s office.

On October 7, Gaza-based Hamas terrorists stormed southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people and kidnapping approximately 240 others.

In retaliation, Israel went on the offensive to eliminate Hamas. The Hamas-run administration in Gaza claims that over 14,000 people have died there.

50 hostages who were being held in Gaza during a four-day ceasefire have finally been freed thanks to an agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Attacks that occurred near Gaza’s hospitals and refugee camps overnight and this morning claimed the lives of at least 100 Palestinians.

A four-day Gaza truce and the release of fifty prisoners detained in the enclave have been agreed upon by Israel and Hamas through mediation by Qatar.

As part of the agreement, over 150 Palestinian women and children detained in Israeli prisons will be released.

PM Netanyahu asserts that a deal does not mean that the war would end and promises that the Israeli military will continue to fight after the ceasefire.

Since October 7, about 14,100 Palestinians have died in Gaza. Approximately 1,200 people have officially died as a result of Hamas strikes in Israel.

“This is not war.” It’s terrorism, says Pope Francis

After the deaths of over 14,100 Palestinians in Gaza and approximately 1,200 in Israel since October 7, Pope Francis thinks the Israel-Hamas conflict has devolved into “terrorism.”

After holding separate talks with Palestinian families in Gaza and Israeli relatives of prisoners imprisoned by Hamas, the pope said he had firsthand knowledge of how “both sides are suffering” in the conflict.

This is the effect of war. Here, though, we’ve moved past conflicts. This isn’t combat. It’s terrorism, he declared.

In order to prevent “both sides from going ahead with passions, which in the end, kill everyone,” he begged for prayers.

    They murder without compassion

While a few parents stood sobbing and comforting one another, others could be seen congregating to identify the remains of their children.

“The occupation claims humanity, but it kills women and children, without compassion or mercy,” stated one of the corpse handlers. “With cats and birds, they are gentle, but not with children.”

Since the truce agreement was announced, Israeli attacks have persisted across the besieged area and are anticipated to end in the next few hours.

The Hamas leader believes a truce agreement is “approaching”; sources estimate a three- to five-day break in violence.

According to the health ministry, every hospital in northern Gaza is currently closed.

As the Israeli shelling of the Nuseirat refugee camp continues, at least twenty Palestinians are murdered in the strike.

Since October 7, about 13,300 individuals have lost their lives in Gaza. Approximately 1,200 people have officially died as a result of Hamas strikes in Israel.

Video footage of injured children’s testimonies was posted by Palestinian journalist Hani Abu Rezeq following an Israeli bombing of a residence where the youngsters were seeking refuge.

After escaping Shujayea in the eastern Gaza Strip, the youngsters are shown narrating the terrifying moments they had at their home in Nuseirat, central Gaza.

“A missile struck us when we were inside the house. A female may be heard stating, “Some of us were injured.”

After the attack, another girl said that some rocks had fallen on her.

I thought I was being electrocuted, so I started screaming. My mother was next to me but a wall fell on top of her. I was under the rubble too,” she said. “Our neighbors came to help me. They dug under the rubble until they got me out.

At the Indonesian Hospital, There Is No Treatment Accessible for Hundreds of People

The translated remarks by Munir al-Bursh are as follows:

    • Some of the injured people who were transported to the institution have died as a result of the siege.
    • Israeli attacks leave those who are hurt but not killed bleeding out and dying from being unable to get to the facilities.

Israel-Hamas war live: Gaza’s Indonesian Hospital surrounded by tanks

After direct Israeli strikes since the morning, at least 12 people have died at the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, which is surrounded by Israeli tanks.

Israel’s allegation that it had discovered a Hamas tunnel at the al-Shifa Hospital was rejected by the director of Gaza’s health ministry, who called the report a “pure lie.”

More than 13,000 people have been murdered in Gaza since the Israeli assault began on October 7. Approximately 1,200 people have been officially killed in Israel as a result of Hamas strikes.

There are concerns of a larger escalation after the Houthi rebels in Yemen took control of a cargo ship in the Red Sea that was connected to Israel and held two dozen crew members captive.

    “Catastrophic” situation in Indonesian hospital

Ashraf al-Qudra, a spokeswoman at the hospital, supplied Al Jazeera with the following updates on the current developments:

    • We worry that the actions of Israeli forces at al-Shifa Hospital will be repeated.
    • The state of affairs is dire, and the strikes by Israeli forces are getting worse.
    • The employees of the Indonesian hospital are adamant that they will remain to tend to the injured.
    • The hospital is occupied by over 700 individuals, including injured patients and medical personnel.

Four additional people were killed in Israeli attacks on an Indonesian hospital.

According to Health Ministry sources in the enclave, the death toll from Israeli attacks on the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza has risen from eight to twelve.

    • As we have reported, patients and doctors were among the deceased.
    • The hospital is still surrounded by Israeli tanks, according to the latest.

Rifles, grenades, and military vests, according to the Israeli military, have been discovered; however, no Hamas command center has been located to date.

Starting at two in the morning on Wednesday, Israeli troops attacked the major medical institution located in the coastal enclave. Israel has maintained for years that Hamas was operating a command center out of the hospital. According to the Israeli army, the operation assisted them in locating proof to support their claims.

What did they discover at the hospital?

The Israeli military published video footage from the medical complex’s hidden building.

The military alleges in the video that three duffel bags carrying an assault rifle, grenades, Hamas uniforms, and flak jackets were discovered hidden in an MRI lab.

The army also displayed assault guns without ammo clips and a laptop that it claimed to have located.

“These weapons have absolutely no business being inside a hospital,” Israeli military spokesman Jonathan Conricus declared, adding that he thought the information was “just the top of the iceberg.”

What about Hamas tunnels and military command?

In the days preceding the attack, Israel insisted that Hamas was running tunnels beneath al-Shifa Hospital. It further asserted that the hospital served as Hamas’ military outpost and command center.

President of the United States Joe Biden, who charged Hamas with war crimes for housing its military headquarters beneath the hospital, supported Israel’s assertions.

Nevertheless, the Israeli army has not provided any proof of Hamas-run tunnels or a military command center beneath the hospital more than 24 hours after the invasion began.

What is going on in al-Shifa right now?

*The World Health Organization said on Saturday it has lost communication with its contacts in Al Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza, and expressed “grave concerns” for the safety of everyone trapped there by the fighting while calling for an immediate ceasefire

Israel’s military continues to bombard al-Shifa, with forces stationed on all sides of the al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, according to Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

The Israeli force has demolished the medical facility’s building housing the specialized surgeries. He claimed that all the medical equipment within the building and the walls separating the rooms had been entirely destroyed.

It is thought that about 2,000 people who were taking refuge at al-Shifa, together with hundreds of patients, physicians, and nurses, are still present at the hospital.

As of right now, Barghouti stated, “What we see is that this war is about attacking civilians, attacking hospitals, and destroying medical facilities.”
